Yamaha R1 1998-2001 Fairing & Screen Bolt Kit Black Aluminium with Dzus Fasteners Option

This kit will fit all Yamaha R1 models between 1998-2001.

This kit is designed to replace all the visible external fairing & screen bolts with black anodised aluminium bolts. You also have the option to replace the Dzus studs with fresh black Dzus studs and clips or replace them with black bolts.

This kit will replace all the the Dzus fixings and regular threaded bolts that secure the upper and lower main fairings, screen, front mudguard and rear fairings. This kit also has the option to replace all the necessary Dzus Studs and Clips with Black Studs to compliment the black fairing bolts. You can select a Dzus kit or decide to leave them out to keep costs down.

Also not everybody wants to change the rubber fairing grommets. To keep the costs down there is an option to have them or not.

This kit features high quality anodised aluminium pan head bolts with a head diameter of 13.5mm (m5), 14mm (m6) and large (18mm diameter) headed shoulder bolts. These bolts are aluminium which won't rust, but please note they are softer than steel bolts so care must be taken when tightening. We will include a couple of extra bolts incase any get rounded off when tightening.

These are not Yamaha bolts, but have a similar head shape, thread diameter and thread length dimensions to the standard bolts so will look like original bolts. Different sized bolts are packaged separately in groups to make it easy for you to replace each standard bolt with the corresponding bolt from Speedy Fasteners.

This kit includes all the spacers/shoulders required to correctly space your bolt head from the fairing to prevent pinching or over-tightening of the fairing. These spacers are made from stainless steel to prolong the life of this bolt kit.

This kit will replace all the external fairing bolts & fixings securing the:
