Honda VFR800 Fairing Screen Stainless Steel 1998-2001 Complete Bolts Kit VFR 800

This kit will fit the Honda VFR800 models between 1998 and 2001.

This kit is designed to replace all the visible external fairing & screen bolts with nice shiny stainless steel bolts.

This kit is not designed to completely fix every fairing panel, and won’t include fixings for inner panels that attach to the outer fairings. We have packs of self tapping screws available in our shop, which are used to attach these panels. You can add these to your order.

A FITTING GUIDE WILL BE POSTED OUT WITH THE KIT.

This kit features high quality Stainless Steel pan head bolts with a head diameter of 13.5mm (m5) and 14mm (m6) plus some shouldered bolts with an 18mm head diameter. These bolts are Stainless Steel which are better than standard zinc plated bolts as they won't rust and have a shine that lasts for years. Please note, there are some bigger headed bolts (22mm diameter approx.) fitted as standard, our bolts will be 18mm diameter in these locations.

These are not Honda bolts, they are bolts we have had made from Stainless Steel to replace/upgrade the standard Honda bolts. They have a similar head shape, thread diameter and thread length dimensions to the standard bolts so will look like original bolts but remain rust-free for a lot longer. Different sized bolts are packaged separately in groups to make it easy for you to replace each standard bolt with the corresponding Stainless Steel bolt from Speedy Fasteners.

This kit has the necessary quantity of shouldered bolts to match the original bolts. These are required to correctly space your bolt head from the fairing to prevent pinching or over-tightening of the fairing. These shoulders are part of the bolt not a separate collar.

This kit will replace all the external fairing bolts and fixings securing the:
Upper Fairing / Cowl
Mirrors / Screen
Belly Pan / Lower Fairing
Front Fender
Rear Fairing (inc. rear grip bar bolts but not the special luggage strap bolt)
